  www.swatonline.org goes live

Hello. You may remember my website, SWAT: Some Weird Action Team. Well, it hasn't been updated in a while.... because I was getting www.swatonline.org set up! That's right, your favorite midget-alien-fighting team has gotten itself a new URL with (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha...

(...) a (...) don't (...) LOL! Thanks Stuart, but I see so many large creations from everyone. You yourself built that huge (and great looking) Bullfrog! How can small models compete with such juggernauts?! ;-D (...) Thank you! I'm glad you like it (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha...

(...) Gosh, Mladen, you should know by now that it's not _size_that counts. I think most of us would agree that some of the most innovative ideas (especially in non-traditional piece-use) have ceom from the smaller mechs. Once again, you've created (...)   Re: New Chateau MOC

Hey... looks very nice... well done... What happened to the gaps between the bricks? Imho some lego style is lost that way. The Walls look very slick if there are no bricks. Play well Carsten "Brad Hamilton" <bhamilto1@home.com> schrieb im (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Brick Color

(...) Great question! I've read most of the responses and found many of them to be almost scientific in methodology. I'll put in my two (non-scientific) studs worth. My collection spans more than 25 years and whenever I think of building big, I (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

(...) ! I wonder if the French original is even close to that! (...) Ok, here goes: I LOVE IT! Well, maybe not the colours... but the design is very, very good! I looked at the wireframe, it must have been difficult to see through all those lines. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  New Chateau MOC

Hello all, Here is my latest creation: (URL) is a large mansion styled after a French chateau. This is actually a model of a real house in Palos Verdes Estates, (Los Angeles CA). The actual house is currently for sale. I found it in a high-end (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town) !

(...) mysterious ways and ends up being very aesthetically pleasing. I too liked the ninja wings to be used for sails, as well as the details that went into the interior. Overall, the whole ship is sturdy looking, and elements just "fit" - like they (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

(...) Hehe. Space is at a premium on an airship of this size, so of course they're going to share the bed. But yes, they do have a pretty comfortable relationship ;) As for doing an airship, I needed one in order to be able to change locales (...)   Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

(...) For some reason, I had in my brain the Wraith from the old early 1990's cartoon Pirates of Dark Water, but that was before I was actually able to track down a picture of said wraith after I'd finished building the Athena and realized that they (...)   Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

(...) Thanks. I had all these ninja wings laying around and figured that they could look like somebody pieced together a big sail out of them. Besides, what else are they good for? :) I really like working in green as well, for some reason. Maybe (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

(...) a minority here, wouldn't it?...) but I like the interior design on yours. Woowoo, a double bed, I guess Xander and Serena are real close, huh? <grin> Plus, like Mark, I admire the use of ninja wings as sails here. Clever usage, definitely. (...)   Ballad of GG

(URL) a hush fell over the poolroom as GG come boppin in from the street, and when the cuttin was done the only part that wasn't bloody were the soles of the big man's feet. (...) stuff. You say it is not possible to use an air tank in the old style circuit, but would it work with two air tanks, one on the high pressure hose and the other on the vaccuum hose, between the pneumatic "diode" and valve?   Re: Brick Color

(...) One thing I haven't seen anyone mention yet is brick size. How many black technic pins does it take to equal one 2x4 brick? (...) *Sighs* Wish I could have entered, but by the time I got my model done I discovered it was 1 stud to long, and there wasn't enough time to build a new one.
