  Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

(...) For some reason, I had in my brain the Wraith from the old early 1990's cartoon Pirates of Dark Water, but that was before I was actually able to track down a picture of said wraith after I'd finished building the Athena and realized that they (...)   Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

(...) Thanks. I had all these ninja wings laying around and figured that they could look like somebody pieced together a big sail out of them. Woowoo, a double bed, I guess Xander and Serena are real close, huh? <grin> Plus, like Mark, I admire the use of ninja wings as sails here. Clever usage, definitely. (...)   Ballad of GG

(URL) a hush fell over the poolroom as GG come boppin in from the street, and when the cuttin was done the only part that wasn't bloody were the soles of the big man's feet. You say it is not possible to use an air tank in the old style circuit, but would it work with two air tanks, one on the high pressure hose and the other on the vaccuum hose, between the pneumatic "diode" and valve?   www.swatonline.org goes live!

Hello. You may remember my website, SWAT: Some Weird Action Team. Well, it hasn't been updated in a while.... because I was getting www.swatonline.org set up!   Re: Xander's Airship: The Athena

I've refrained from posting comments on airships, out of a combination of envy as well just not being extremely impressed, but i simply can't restrain myself on this one.... wonderful work, definitely my favorite so far.   Re: Brick Color

(...) One thing I haven't seen anyone mention yet is brick size. How many black technic pins does it take to equal one 2x4 brick? And how many 2x4 bricks does it take to equal the plastic in a 32x32 baseplate? Etc. Each theme uses different (...) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Hoverthing contest judging is in

(...) *Sighs* Wish I could have entered, but by the time I got my model done I discovered it was 1 stud to long, and there wasn't enough time to build a new one.   Re: Brick Color

This is a good start. Some suggestions for modifying the results: 1. Look at only a few common parts, especially bricks. I've acquired hundreds of 1x2 plates with clips from recent sets. While these are common, they are tiny. I'd rather know how (...) (23 years ago, 15-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
