Thanks! My mom currently has possession of 2/3 of my lego sets so mostly what I have to work with is Technic and Model Team pieces, hence the predominant beams-and-pins design of my big mech. Hi Eric, That is a REALLY big model. I think that the dome seems "round" enough. The scale is so big that the bricks seem to melt into a continuous sheet. Yes the mirage is quite incredible I think. I hadn't seen it yet till the other day and I almost fell off my chair when I did! Get on of those small, unjuniorized sets that is really complicated. You can put it together instead of crushing, which might work better.
