Hi,
I think you are referring to "Pompidou Center" (probably spelled wrong) in
Paris. It mainly houses a few museums. The building is really cool though.
I've been there several times. I was defininitely influenced by this
building for my transit terminal. The Pompidou Center is probalby the best
example of a building turned inside out. There is also a high-rise in
London (I think the Loyd's Building or something like that) that also has
all the utilities, pipes, and ducts on the outside. They claim that it
makes maintenance easy because they can swap out units externally.
