OK -- got it!
It's not blue, and it's not purple, and it's not even indigo -- but in fact
it's violet -- the same exact hue as the new DUPLO Dinosaur. :)
Waycool!
Here's a webpage from April showing a comparison of LEGO "purples"...
http://www.fibblesnork.com/lego/temporary/purples/
(Note: it doesn't show the new violet color, and the blueish-purple Wal*Mart
limited edition playtable is roughly indigo. The DUPLO dinos turned out not
to be the playtable indigo color, but instead a new color, violet.)
Purple (almost magenta) -- seen in CyberSlam and MindStorms
Indigo* (almost blue -- WM playtable and rubber tubing in 8250 Search Sub)
Violet (deep purple -- seen in DUPLO Dinosaurs and McDonald's Grimace)
*AFAIK, TLC hasn't made any actual Indigo-colored ABS bricks, so the only
two "actual" purples are Purple (the redder of the two purples, almost like
Barney the Dinosaur) and Violet (darker and "purpler" just like violets the
flowers).

I'll be darned -- the green bricks in the Grimace set are regular LEGO leaf-
green. Cool.... :)
