It could certainly be the new blue-purple color -- the one that shows up in
the new DUPLO Dinosaurs sets. It's not purple, and it's not blue, but it's
in-between. It's a *gorgeous* color and it does look great with yellow or
orange. What's got me confused, though, is that the Grimace face on the
stamp in the upper-left corner

is purple, while the Grimace face on the brick on the front of the car in
the photo is bluer than the sloped bricks. Could be due to the printing of
purple onto green[1], although the green shown isn't the classic green,
either -- it looks more like the newer bright green. Guess we'll just hafta
wait and see, huh? :) My bets are on purple-blue, because that's what I'd
love to see. :)
Interesting BTW to see a set with 3 Dark Pink 2x8 plates and 1 Dark Pink 4x4
plate! (I wonder if some of those are really 2x4 plates...)

I wonder what these sets will cost all by themselves (without the Happy
Meal)? Back in 1989 when McD's did the LEGO Motion promotional sets, they
were US$.55 each separately.

[1] white comes out as pink when printed on red elements, for example.

| I'm guessing that some of the apparent new colours are due to a change in the plastic used by TLG. If you take a close look some of the new bricks in the Star Wars sets, and compare to a standard brick in the same colour, you can sometimes tell that (...)
