Re: Some more Sea Monkey sightings, and some other items...

(...) "Troops, break out the cocktail sauce". Joe, this is beautiful. I want one. (...) Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Agrred. Or else they would have invaded LONG ago:) (...) The priests could be defined by something as simple as a long robe..the longer, the more senior. Or maybe a body plate with a long robe. It would be neat to take advantage of the fact (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Which means we don't have to worry about "land gear" for the head. Though its logical to assume they shouldn't stay out of the water for too long. (...) Thats a good idea. How do we make preists then? We could make it one color (like white) or (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Possibly a crusade. (...) A possible idea would be that the SMs could absorb materials from their skin or their tail. The tails are the largest part of their anatomy (and a real PAIN to build around:)) so it would make sense that they would (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) True. This way, they're not just war-mongers, but on a worthy mission. (...) Interesting that you say that. One of the ideas I've been toying with lately is that SMs don't have to eat to obtain energy. I'm always dissapointed in sci-fi aliens (...) (22 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Another difference I see is that humans don't adapt to the environment as much as adapt the environment to them. And that mastery of the environment is something that the SMs disdain...they live in a general harmony with the sea. (...) So (...) (22 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) I totally agree. If they were telepathic, its likely they would have a better understanding of the environment and somehow be at harmony with it. So, humans would be the ultimate invasive species (the biologist in me is coming out). With (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) I can see a SM and his advisor, a Fleeb.... (...) Point taken, so Alpha Team still has a chance:) (...) I have a slightly lengthy drive to and from work, so my thinking happens then...and yep life IS too short! (...) No problem! (...) A town (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Yah, it'll be fun to come up with ideas about their alliance in future. The idea was thrown out for comic releif before. (...) I'm not sure about that. I guess I should give a low down on the thoughts I had on the SMs a little further down. (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Still workin as BF2k3 as far away as that seems right now. But, if I have my way, Aqauzone and the Sea Monkeys will make a respectable showing this year. Felix BTW- I've tried to email you but am getting undeliverable mail messages for some (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Felix! Cool Stuff! The Sea Monkeys rule! hey, no they don't... I must fight back against there schemes. (...) It's because I rock. "And Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb." hey wait... that's not right. FIGHT THE SEA MONKEYS! (...) (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

(...) Wow, cool! I spotted the graphics on B-shelf and was wondering what was going on... (...) There are a couple of things that come to mind: Chris Giddens came up with a really cool angle on the Attack Crab beuiing built with the assistance of (...)   Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

(...) Hey, Alpha Team needs YOU! The Landmates would be great mecha against the AttackCrab, if the Landmates attacked en masse! And on the land, the Landmates have an advantage-they're small and quick. Joe Meno PS. Your landmates look really cool! (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

(...) Thanks! Once the legs came to be (I originally wasn't going to use legs), the whole model came together! Well, except for the tail..that took two more tries:) The cockpit was a truly happy accident. Originally, there wasn't going to be a (...)   Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home.

I was going to wait a while and add more content to this page, but Joe Meno's new MOC got me excited.   Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

(...) Ay Dios Mio! Joe, I don't even know where to begin. Not only is the model cool in general, but you've managed to capture the theme excellently. I love the cockpit and use of non conventional colors. I've said it before and I'll say it again. (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

Looks like I need to tune my Landmates and gear up for war. Damn Sea Monkeys! Excellent mecha, love the tail and claws. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

(...) Yep, that was part of my inspiration... that and the initial shape was the two shell parts implied the crab look. I don't have the blue parts for the Leviathan..well, not yet, anyways:) And there's the subpods and the Ulysses..but they need (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

(...) That is pretty cool Joe. It has a very close resemblance to the leviathan(spelling?) in atlantis my fav disney movie. Is that were you got your inspiration for it? -Semaj (URL) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)
