I think what he means is to 'lowlight' a post. Like, if you not only think it
shouldn't be hightlighted by yourself, it shouldn't be highlighted by some
others either.

| (...) Exactly how I'm reading it as well, Suz. There are many times I've seen something spotlighted and thought to myself, 'Why in the world would anyone spotlight this? I wish I could cancel out their vote.' Then I realize just how open to abusive (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)
