What about a lugnet.announce.moc??  This would let people posting MOC
announcements across all themes have a place to put their MOCs up before the
whole community.  The charter for .announce could more forcefully
specifically ban MOC posts and refer MOC posters to the new group.

I thought of a similar idea yesterday (lugnet.moc)after reading about this
problem.   Lugnet.announce.moc would be great because it would allow us to
post all new MOC's together and in their respective newsgroups.  Then a
person who visits lugnet (not lives here like others!) could quickly check
out new creations.  Builders could reach a wider audience.  Many creations
are lost in their newsgroups.  Builders do not get to share their ideas (an
example are several iscc entries which have not been responded to when I saw
them this morning).  This is a main reward of lugnet - sharing ideas and
creations.

I apologize to everyone for personally misusing the announce newsgroup.  I
am new here and did not really know better.  Hopefully, a new newsgroup can
be created.
