BTW, Arlington, Virginia is (almost) to Washington, D.C. what Superior is
to Duluth. So why is Arlington listed as lugnet.loc.us.va.arl and not as
lugnet.loc.us.dc.arl? Well, even though a gazillion people work in D.C.
and live in Arlington, and Arlington is definitely a satellite city of
D.C., it's a darned huge satellite city, and it's across the river from
D.C., and its metro area goes deep into Virginia. Anyhow, you often hear
of "Duluth/Superior" on the local news, but I don't think you often hear
of "D.C./Arlington," is this correct? How about Alexandria? :)

Do I detect a state preference here? ;) But seriously, I would like to see a Local group for D.C.'s Northern suberbs, as they stretch up to Fredrick (an hour and a half (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

They're just satellite cities 1/10 or less the size of the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
