I was also encouraged with a good deal of what Suzanne had to say - although
I did also have some respect for what Paul was trying to say. If we agree
that a round-table is a discussion (or meeting) where people talk in
conditions of equality, then I like to think we should have that in *every*
group - not only “lugnet.admin.roundtable".
I assume you and I can agree on that Larry?
If the purpose of "lugnet.admin.roundtable" is simply to discuss the
"direction" of LUGNET then I shall remain sceptical about what it will
achieve - especially if it takes the form of “just another group”. This is
because I expect the people who post there will be the usual suspects.
They key to managing LUGNET is to find a way to get real feedback from the
bulk of users. How? I have no idea!
