Hi, I just wanted to ask if there's any evidence we've been visited by a spambot lately--suddenly there's been an enormous spike in spam (two or three a day, up from one every six months) to my .msu.edu account, which I *only* use to post here and (...) RFC2047 is the standard way to encode non 7-bit characters in header fields since 1996. Headers which are not decoded look ugly, to say the least. Hi, My email address changed a while ago, and although the old one is still valid it has a more limited life span, hence I wish to change my server posting details. I went to: (URL) changed my email addy. It said to wait until I recieve a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Admin gang, I've never seen this happen before, and wonder if you know what's happened. I posted a reply to a message, and it showed up twice, as two different messages.
