I used to get their spam, and I forget if I added a filter against them or
if I finally bugged them enough to remove me.
Its pretty sad when a fellow site in the LEGO community (albeit they don't
participate much) spams other enthusiasts. But, I digress.

I've not seen a connection either. I don't even use a spamblock on LUGNET
when I'm posting, and my spam hasn't gone up because of it. But, I credit a
few instances where I lacked proper judgment while filling out email forms.
I was a bit too permissive with my address, just for a short bit of time,
and that's what did it. Thanks to SpamKiller, I may only see one spam a
week reach my inbox, the rest get filtered out :-)
BTW I've gotten a bunch of debt-reduction ones myself.
