I have a 226 Idea Book variant. Lugnet & Brickshelf show the book as 1981 and price of $2.40. My book is c. 1982, with a price of $2.39 (now a graphical part of the cover). The inside of mine is identical to the Brickshelf scan (page for page), (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

  LEGO DUPLO 1505 from 1986

I picked up 1505 at a thrift store today. It contains two sets with one of them supposedly free although the box says "Enclosed sets sold only w/ this offer." I assume the set is from 1986 due to the copyright date on the box. The book inside has a (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

(...) I have managed to construct a copy of the main 1593 spaceship from spares and the brickshelf intructions (except I've had to substitute the grey webbed dish with a white one). I'll bring it to Gosport - if anyone has a spare grey webbed dish (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.admin.database)

Space Models for South Coast Lego Fest (was Re: 1593 box photos!)

(...) You couldn't put it together and bring it down to Gosport on the 28th April could you? Can anyone else do one of these? Mark - what about you? Hi all, Sorry - this ought to be a proper de-lurk, but I'm in the thick of work at the moment. However, I couldn't resist confirming your suspicions... I'm certain that I got this set from a Persil offer (must be Persil since that was my family's (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.admin.database)

just post the info here, and put up the picture somewhere online... one of the DB admins will eventually get it and update the data :) The more info in the database, the better resource lugnet becomes :) (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

Re: Some data on set 2_7

(...) Hmm, let's see... Suz created the record and uploaded the photo on 26 Dec 1999; later, Joshua assigned some theme, year, piece-count info, and notes. Dan changed the piece count from 149 to 184. --Todd (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Australian box for 4561

Hi. I have a picture of the Aus box for the 4561, which is different from the one in the set database. Does anyone want this made available, if so how do I submit it? ROSCO (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

Re: Some data on set 2_7

(...) Certainly an interesting question. Of course it's possible the box cover is wrong for 2_7. It's also possible there's a difference in how to count compund pieces (like wheels), though I'm not sure this set has many wheels. It's also possible (...)   Re: 4.5v vs 12

Re: 1593 box photos! (was: Re: you guys noticed this auction? - Wow!)

(...) That's an interesting method of bidding - picking the maximum bid amount to be the same as the set number. Thank goodness this set wasn't numbered in the 6000's! - Bob (24 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.admin.database)
