Variation for 226 Idea Book

I have a 226 Idea Book variant. Lugnet & Brickshelf show the book as 1981
and price of $2.40. My book is c. 1982, with a price of $2.39 (now a
graphical part of the cover).
The inside of mine is identical to the Brickshelf scan (page for page),
except for pages 2 & 3. My book only shows English on those pages with the
same picture, only larger to fill the space. My back page says: Distributed
by LEGO Systems Inc., CT 06082, c. 1982 Lego Group. The Brickshelf one says:
Made by Lego Systems A/S Denmark c. 1981 Lego Group. Both say Printed in
Germany by Frank Druck, Preetz/Holst. Mine also has a part number 120263,
which I don't see on the Brickshelf version.
Could this be a US only version that came out later than the Euro version?
This also may suggest a reason for the year difference of the 7720 info I
just posted.
