  Re: LUGNET Posting Policy Update

(...) SNIP (...) I would like to thank the LUGNET Transition Team, those listed here as well as those not listed, for their continued efforts on behalf of the AFOL Community. I also hope that the mere mention of this new policy and consequences (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-04, to lugnet.admin.terms, FTX)

  Re: do we need lugnet.org.castle-world?

(...) Sounds like a good idea to me. The only thing I can see as being a quibble is that once the adminstrivia(1) is over with, then it becomes a really blurred line as to what goes where. Most Castle World content will be quite happy and on topic (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: Sale at The Vault this week!

Re: Why these news groups were created

(...) This seems like a good summary of your position on this topic. Do you agree? If not, is there a better one? Is there anything significant on this proposed change that you feel hasn't been brought to light yet? If this is a good summary and (...) (3 URLs) (I know Chris was just joking here -- we were chatting about it at the time, but he was trying to prove a point by giving an example of overdoing it) I suggest limiting signature banners (...) In the traffic report/page "shades of red" currently show how hot the article count is, that is, how recent the 38 posts to off-topic.pun in the last 24 hours actually are.   Re: Official vs. unofficial LEGO postings

(...) This HAS to be an oversight on Todd's part. I can't imagine he did that on purpose. So I wouldn't worry about it unless it stays that way. But it seems clear to me that Todd acted in haste for some reason, it's not like him to overlook a (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.nntp)

LEGO Direct ng possibilities (was: Re: Cleaning up the main homepage)

(...) OK, let's talk a bit about some possible solutions... First, let's nail down the problem: The problem isn't that the system is clogged up per se (it's always clogged up :) but that Brad's announcements/pronouncements are so quickly lost among (...)
