Robotics subgroups by mail (was: sensors)

(...) That's correct. The lego-robotics@crynwr.com list is gatewayed with lugnet.robotics only and does not receive messages posted to any of its subgroups. (...) Well, in that case, I've got Killer News for ya! :) Not only is it feasible, but it's (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Service Packs: Space, Technic, Train, Town, etc

To: Scott A. and Larry P. and anyone else who cares: All right, I am saying this once, and you can fight among yourselves about it. I wish this was totally off LUGNET, and I wish you two would stop this unending, uneeded, feud you two seem to love (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Hello Ben, I don't believe that is entirely correct. With the exception of one or two weeks when the specials were not announced until Tuesday, all have been updated to the web page relatively early in the day on Monday. (...) I was out of (...)   Re: eudora thread bug

On this rare occasion, I find myself not agreeing with Lar here. Personal experience with Netscape News has been very troublesome. I love Netscape Navigator but Net-News likes to crash my machine or at least freeze it up whenever I am multitasking, (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Traffic Error

(...) Thanks to both of you for reporting & documenting this. Let's see what we can find out. 2:25pm PDT today equals 5:25pm EDT, equals 924297900 seconds past the epoch, so what's in the activity log snapshots at that time...? Hmm, nothing odd (...)   Request for New Animation Newsgroup

Following BrickFest there have been some conversations in the BrickFilms.com forum concerning the presence of “LEGO Animation” on the LUGNET site.   Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) I's widespread throughout the Internet. There are many newsgroups on apparently non-controversial topics that are now permanent warzones over issues that would appear trivial to most outsiders. However, I think the name calling or use of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general) !

If just anyone can rate a message, what's to keep me from creating 100 accounts and rating my posts up to "100" for whatever reason? Todd's taking steps to verify existance of (...)   Re: ???Question???

PS: if my tone seems annoyed or even antagonistic in the past few messages, it's not at anyone here -- it's at Microsoft. I try to avoid MS-bashing as much as I can, but this is blatently evil [1].
