Say the current price is $7. You bid $10 and are winning. Then while the price is still $7 or so, someone else bids $10.01 and happens to be 1 cent above you, but since the price is currently $7, the min bid is $7.50, and he can bid anything above (...) (...) It's sort of a problem with proxy bids. The way eBay enforces a minimum bid increment is that the minimum bid must be the bid increment above the current bid. That's funny. I think it looks better with the clip shown in the instructions (the one that holds tools vertically), but Peeron agrees with the photograph of the completed model, listing the clip that holds tools horizontally in their inventory: (...) (22 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.castle)

I was looking up Shiri Dori today, partly because I was bored and partly because hers was a name that always used to pop up and doesn't now. Anyway.... one thing that I came across was RTL. My understanding was that it was basically a predecesor to (...) (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.faq)
