I was recently going through some boxes of old toys at my parents house when i made unearthed about 100 pieces from my sloppy youth. Actually, Gary, I think that they may well be the same as those used in the Lego train Line during the same era. These two pictures seem to confirm that at least the yellow and black parts are the same; I suspect the red one is also: (URL) even (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

I was over at a friend's house today and her little sister had a Lego set with the old white maxifig torso and head which sparked my interest.
