  Re: IR to FM

<snapped an excellent technical description> (...) kinds (...) I wasn't exactly thinking of the RCX doing the smart job of the FM communication. I imagined more of the RCX just outputting IR signals to an apparatus that translates them to FM. These (...) (26 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  MacNQC 4.05b, RCX 1.0 and OS X 10.4.6 can't program the brick

Hello with a query from the past... I used MacNQC for ages on other computers but I find now that I can't write a program out to an RCX 1.0 brick using MacNQC 3.04 or 4.05b. I can send the firmware with no problem but when I try to download a (...) (17 years ago, 22-May-09, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: Communication between the RCX and the Cybermaster

(...) I would recommend the CM talking to one RCX that then can use standard IR to talk to the other(s). I've been thinking of this for awhile now. I don't yet own a CM so I'm just guessing that it has similar 'codes' (1 - 255) like the RCX. I would (...) (26 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Info request

(...) Well, as I imagined the device, it just translates the IR into RF and back. This way you can't only use it between tower and RCX but also in comms between two RCX'es, which is exactly what I want to do. I don't have any experience in (...) (26 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Communication between the RCX and the Cybermaster
