Within a given theme, the smaller sets sell better than the larger ones because
they're more affordable, but Brian has it right in that long-term production
makes a huge difference when many popular sets can sell out in half a year. My
guess would have been green baseplate packs, but there's a huge market out there
for the old RCX sets within the FLL community. Then again, I'd really count the
RCX/Mindstorms kits as being at least two different sets, if not three, just
like how the NXT kit is about to become two different sets when they update the
parts assortment.
