I am curious which LEGO sets are most common. For example, among currently
available LEGO sets, which are produced in the greatest quantities, and
therefore most widely owned (assuming they are not hoarded)? Is this information
available directly from LEGO, or do you think it can be generally deduced from
the proportions visible on a sample of freshly-stocked store shelves?

Please share any ideas you may have on the topic.

Thanks,
Jim
