  Re: KMart Circular

(...) Well... I wouldn't know, them buckets being unavailable here in the Netherlands. The best you can do as far as buckets go here, is BASIC buckets that don't even have 1*x bricks, let alone any plates :( However, they do all have an inventory (...) (...) Try putting some bricks together using your knuckles - that is with pressure feedback, now try doing it in a dark room :) It's a cute idea but I think you'd have *real* trouble with anything smaller than 2x2 bricks, or is that what you meant?   Re: Advice for trip to Billund?

My advice for your trip to Billund is double check to make sure the outside areas of the park are open, as the official opening date seems to change from year to year. I think the outside part opens last weekend in March or first in April. Yes, (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Gothic tracery idea

Hi all, Last week I was thinking about ways to get convincing Gothic tracery without making a huge window. I hit upon the idea to rotate the wall plane 90 degrees and then use 1xn plates to create the tracery. The idea worked out very well, but it (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) ...which reminds me of the 3x6 tile, that happened to be introduced in the Scala series (?). I don't like it to be put in a category; it's so basic. (Well, the measures 3x6 aren't). I would be surprised if it doesn't show up in a totally (...) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: TLG investigation 1st answers

(...) For a lot of people, this is true. A lot of people seem to complain about the lack of basic bricks, and also the use of decorated/specialized bricks that are only good for very special uses. However, some people also think that many old sets (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Lego CNN article - 1000 loose job? Whats UP?

How can things be so bad? The ZB in my area never can keep legos in stock. The had ~30 Mindstorms on Oct 16 and they were gone by Nov 10th. never to be seen on the shelf again. I'm not sure what you mean by Freestyle containing "dopey" pieces? Freestyle is the mainstay of a lot of RTLers who refuse to pay exhorbitant prices for sets that contain very few bricks and a bunch of highly specialized pieces that have no/little (...)
