Hi all,
Last week I was thinking about ways to get convincing Gothic tracery
without making a huge window. I hit upon the idea to rotate the wall
plane 90 degrees and then use 1xn plates to create the tracery. The idea
worked out very well, but it leaves the problem of how to connect the
windows to the rest of a building. Two methods that I tested involve
using Technic beams or 1x1 bricks with side studs. I put some scans on
my web page, so you can see what I'm talking about.
Check it out at http://www.pitt.edu/~jlgst56/lego/tracery.html
Has anyone tried anything like this before? I'd like to see it.
