Hello! I've lurked around lugnet and brickshelf for quite some time now admiring the works of some great Lego® miltary builders.   Re: Commissioned Sculpture Pricing Question...

(...) First, congrats! I doubt the very few full time builders would tell you how much they'd charge, but if I were to be contacted, this is what I'd do: Charge 20-40% of the actual brick cost of the model. This cover deterioration of the price from (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: Quality Control Issues?

I've had a couple of problems. I had a misprinted piece and had a couple of black slopes that were warped pretty badly. I've had a part missing from a set once too. Customer service is very good about replacing parts. I also have run into several (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Sacre Blue! Someting is not quite right here!

(...) Those rounded bricks look awfully good. And now they match LEGO colors! The only drawback (well, besides not being LEGO) is that the rounded corners let a lot of light through.
