(...) Just to add a bit to what Paul has already said. For "plain bricks" you can't beat Lego Buckets. We bought one not too long ago that even has colors like green, brown, and tan (in addition to the traditional colors like black, white, blue, (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Brown Bricks - Wood or Chocolate?

Here's a thread to discuss your opinions of old and new brown. I'd like to see what the consensus of opinion is. Q1. Is the old brown like wood? Q2. Is the new brown like chocolate? Q3. Are chocolate coloured trees feasible or not? Q4. Are there (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.color)

(...) Thanks for posting these. My copies haven't arrived yet. I am initially a little disappointed at the inclusion of thin walls instead of bricks in the Maersk blue color....but, that may change when I receive my copies of the set. Of course, I (...)   Brickfest Micro Moc Display and Contest

This is your chance to get creative, without breaking the Lego budget. It's my pleasure to let you know about the Micro Contest and Display! I'm calling out to ALL builders . . . I did not add some, as e.g. arches already are popular. See my comment for more: 2335 Flag 2 x 2 A system with stickers for different coutries and maybe companies.   Re: A little math cioncerning ships, containers and Minifigs

(...) Excluding all internal supports and bracing, what we are really concerned about is surface area, since that's the brick we see. If an object is scaled up 2 times, its surface area goes up by a factor of 4. Thus, you would need, at minimum, 4 (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

Hi The next version is now out. ALPHA 0.73. There have been no big changes. They should be in the next version. New stuff: You can now select bricks by color. The drag selection now works. Some brick type tabs have been added. Next version will be (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.cad)

The model seems to have 5 rows of 2-wide containers and you would want 4-wide which IIRC is what the train (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.trains, FTX)
