  Mystery lighthouse model

On a flee market in the Netherlands I bought a huge model of a Lightouse. It was definitely no official LEGO model; my question is whether it was made by a hobbyist or by LEGO as a window display. It's a cylindrical structure, about 40 cm high, 20 (...) (26 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

RE: Bumper Ideas Needed & Re: Positioning of 2 RCXs

Dave, I have another idea for a omnidirectional IR Transmitter/Receiver arrangement. It is based on the discovery I made with my universal remote. I can control my TV with my eyes as a reflector (don't ask). Try a shinny steel ball bearing, of about (...) (26 years ago, 30-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Interestingly put. I find that now I'm using Town Jr. stuff to almost take the place of Freestyle buckets.   Re: New Service Packs for 1999..

You're right. When you try stacking those macaroni bricks, they become very unstable. I usually use only 3 or 4 on top of each other, and then a curved plate on top of that (sort of an overhang).
