First, copyright does not confer to a copyright owner the right to stop people from displaying goods, or pictures of the goods, for sale. See U.S. (...) Probably true :) My first instinct on seeing this auction (with a Lego-logo background) was to point out to the seller that it wasn't going by Lego's "fair play" rules, but I wasn't sure (being an auction where it might be relevant to the (...) (...) That was my feeling-- so about the only recourse legally for the seller would be to argue that the logo was meant to further describe the product.
