  Re: A hockey coincidence

H'lo again, Bianca (...) *blush* Thanks - that's kind of you to mention. (...) Ah, but if there had been computer graphics programs easily available back in the 1970s when I started fooling around with a paintbrush, who _know_ what I might have got (...)   Re: BFCFixer

(...) Of course, it's that simple - thanks. Except some of the most basic LDraw parts (regular bricks) fail this test because the studs are "stuck on" a complete quad, rather than a surface peppered with stud-sized holes. Chris (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Ancient Lego Windows

Eric Strand brought this EBAY auction item to my attention. (URL) is an early Lego spare parts pack for Lego windows/doors from 1954-56. And it looks quite interesting. The windows/doors are the variety made from 1949-56 without glass. The (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

Motor cutouts (was Re: Vincent Veneman: AMAZING building)

(...) That's why my big diesels have 2 motors without question. It also makes life easier if both bogies are the same (not for class 28 CoBo!). Big steam engines have 2 motors under the tender, plus any extra ones for driving the wheels. Small steam (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: A lil' Mountain with10 Tunnel Portals

(...) I see you have 2 crossovers behind the scenes, one on the green track and one on the yellow. I like the way it enables you to put more tunnel portals in view of the audience. Of course turning round in a small space is essential, not something (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) A headlight brick on the bow piece, plate 1 x 3 AT THE HALF STUD on the headlight brick's side stud, with a plate 1 x 1 and the 'Plate 1 x 2 with Handle' (2540), with a tile 1 x 4 on them. I think it centers well over the gun port opening, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Yo, and it definitly looks like a Neumann-Mecha. And this is sooooo cool! I really like it. It's the best big one you built for a while. In Snowcat I saw you went a new way. It was good to do so but somehow it didn't look as perfect (to me). (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Mike - What a great idea! The accordion-style stacking of the bricks makes this a very unique design. How'd you think of that? Way cool. I gotta try that. You've turned the plane of view by 45 degrees, but the result is a clear image. Thanks, (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Gigantic Soft Bricks for sale. 6x bigger than normal LEGO

Hey everyone, if you need to blow some holiday cash, I have some LEGO soft bricks for sale at my BrickLink store. If you're not familar, they are 6 times bigger than a standard brick and are made of a dense foam. Very cool knick-knack and they work (...)
