  Big Brother?

Eventually, even if don't flaunt your Lego hobby, your neighbours are going to catch on... --SNIP-- (...) I suspect that recreating a livery out of bricks would be very hard to prosecute as it is an artistic interpratation rather than a direct copy of copyrighted and/or trademarked intellectual property.   Is it possible for a robot to count studs?

I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever tried to use a robot to count studs EG on a baseplate in order to make precise, stud-sized movements, for example, when making a pattern out of bricks or plates. If so, how did you do it, and can it be made (...) (19 years ago, 11-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Far North Bricks 55% off sale continues!

Hmm I keep forgetting that not everyone has eyes with which to find my shop in the bricklink listing. :D Also, as of this posting, there's about $176 worth of stock left at discount prices - I'm hoping someone could clean out all of it for me! :D (19 years ago, 1-Nov-05, to lugnet.market.brickshops)

(...) Thank you Mr. Thorne! I kept a lot of minifig bodies because it's not so easy to come with a complete body made of bricks, that will be small enough to fit a minifig size. I'll try though. Cheers, JP. (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
