  Light Brick

Anyone got 2 light extra bricks they'd be willing to sell me? I'll pick up tonight at dinner if available. (Apparently I need one for this project Y thing :) and a second for "testing". Let me know the $ by direct reply. TIA- -Rob A> (19 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Why java is bad for Mindstorms

(...) As of early 2003 (and even going back to 2002) BricxCC had extensive support for compiling and downloading brickOS programs. Exactly when in 2003 I first released my installers for brickOS and cygwin I don't recall but they made using brickOS (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yes, you're absolutely correct about this, and it's a problem a lot of modern MBTs have as well. However, those hatches were the only pieces I had that could solve this particular design problem. Blame LEGO. Taking this one step further (...)   Has anyone thought of this?

(URL) was fooling around with my bricks today and I thought it up. If it can be done-- It's what I've always been looking for: Some way in which I can integrate train axles into the technic system.... and thereby motorise stuff, apart from other (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: The LAST post (hopefully) about Java and the NXT

(...) It depends what you mean by "support". If you mean provide information for a 3rd party to develop and maintain a Java runtime for the brick then I agree totally! But if you mean actually do the development, or fund it it some way, I disagree. (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  connecting 2 nxt bricks

i dont know if its ever been done... but with all this new found technology, and some fancy programming, would it be possible to connect 2 nxt bricks via an output port from one to an input port to the other? i mean all it is is just sending (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) One week left to build your most amazing drag racing robots! I've had a couple of questions about the arena and event which I'll answer here. First of all, the arena will be made out of separate boards that are painted white. This means that (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) A parte gli scherzi, le strade di bricks sono impegnative. Più che nere le avrei preferite dark blay che costa meno del nero e si trova ora con una certa facilità, nonché da un realismo maggiore (l'asfalto nero è raro da vedersi). Naturalmente (...)   Why java is bad for Mindstorms

Let's face ist: LEGO wants to sell Mindstorms units. And they want to sell it to the illiterate customer.
