Re: Any thoughts on making bricks in a 'brick red' color?

(...) No need. It's all a matter of priorities. All parts I used can be easily had on Bricklink. Yeah, it may cost you a pretty penny, and it may even take a while to accrue the necessary amounts, but what's so mysterious about that? The real wonder (...)   Re: 6 new bulk packs at S@H

(...) I just checked Bricklink.com, and you're right--there ARE a lot of true gray and brown bricks. However, except for the 1X2 & 2X2 bricks, the pieces are scattered throughout 1000 stores and several countries. The vast majority of BL stores that (...)   Re: ABS... but which one?

(...) I didn't say that; perhaps I was not clear enough. What I meant was: brand new bricks bought 10 years ago (before the claimed ABS change), and brand new bricks bought *now* click different from each other. In fact, the more recent ones don't (...)   Re: Attack of the clones (Re: $Here’s the Deal$)

(...) The Glow-in-the-dark bricks are an innovative idea!!! But the white bricks just don’t look right… How about replacing them with a color that’d be far more interesting. ~Like chrome!   Re: connecting 2 nxt bricks, low-tech

(...) Well, RCXs have been interconnected via input and output ports (or even input to input ports), so I think it's likely. But if we have Bluetooth (faster, more secure, doesn't require a physical connection, and address multiple objects), why not (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: How much does a weight brick weigh?

(...) Oh, I had no intention of using 2x4 bricks to add counterbalancing weight (unless, of course, they were magnet bricks). They just happened to be handy for a weight estimate, but using them permanently would have caused some of the same (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains)

Thanks Rob, I can add that to part 2, which will include the low sloped bricks. And then those service packs with the low sloped outside corner in red. There are a lot of interesting variations, that's for sure. Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
