I know *exactly* where you're coming from. My current project has a 4 story
tower that starts about 7 bricks above ground (mountainscape) The outside is
modeled with BURPs and black & grey bricks, but I was running very short on
bricks at the time, so the center is supported with white 2x2 columns. Even
though someone would have to literally tear the tower *and* the mountainside
apart to see those bricks, I know they're there, and it bugs me every time I
look at that tower.
I've come very close myself to fixing it several times, but the upper part of
the tower took me several days to get right, and I just can't quite make myself
risk messing with it.
My friends call me anal. They just don't understand. ;-)
