  Re: Duplo Printed Bricks Database

(...) Here is a scan of 2445 Duplo Farm Yard from page 5 of LEGO's 1994 catalog of retail offerings. The reason I have cross-posted this to general is because I called customer service last week to get this catalog for 2001, and I was told that they (...) (...) Oh please! That thing takes 40 silver 2x4 bricks per side! If you can't get a Metroliner off of ebay, try to get 80 silver bricks. And that is also a lot of silver tubes- 40 elbows per side and 40 straights in the middle. Of course, there are (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Are "classic" technic parts doomed?

My two cents: 1. The current technic electric motor needs traditional technic bricks to conect it to the newer liftarm elements - but is it being officially replaced by spybiotics/rc components? My bet is not. 2. The economics of a liftarm-based (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: My proposal for new element orientation

That won't work all the time. In the L3G0 library, the rule was the vertical axis should pass through the center of the bottom-left stud when the brick is held such that the "LEGO" logo is right-side-up, and the bottom of the brick rested on the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!

(...) I'll second this. I recently finished a large-ish gray spaceship, and by the time I got to the end, I was piecing together 1x1 bricks with parts stolen from my wife's mosaic. I'd really like to see bulk bricks in odd-numbered sizes (i.e. 1x1 & (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
