  Are ABS bricks so good...?

I was a bit shocked last night. You know how the plates are just thick enough that they can be held between the studs on normal bricks if you try inserting them sideways in... I seem to recall some of the cars in the 70s actually had 1x1 and 1x2 (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Reasons for the color change

(...) I just had a thought .... If you were TLG and you were losing market share, you might want to try and find ways of figuring out why. What if someone in TLG came up with the bright idea of putting a mixed bunch of Lego bricks and clone bricks (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Bricks in my Pocket (BimP) now available!

(...) Sean, I agree. MLCAD on the PocketPC would seem to be very easy port. I too would love to take my creations on the go and work with them. Maybe a post in the MLCAD area will prompt some aspiring programmer to make the port. I know for now that (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Macaroni Brick Patterns

(...) Just by looking at it, I would say that the leftmost blue/yellow one has 32 macaroni bricks per individual loop. I just got a bunch of 1955-57 macaroni bricks from Europe that have the 2x4 macaroni bricks (half circle) as well as the 2x2 we (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Questions about 2 x 4 Plane 8 Window Bricks

I need some help sorting out the eight plane window bricks. These have 8 windows painted onto red or blue stripes. This is separate from the original part, 3001p02, which shows 4 windows on a red centre stripe. There are two eight window bricks (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Touching Bricks

I remember this discussion, but can't seem to find the thread. I'm working on converting *all* of the LDraw pieces, manualy, over to trueSpace (another 3d modeling/animating package). When I use dat2dxf, with measurements set to "Standard LDraw (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Bulk Bricks online survey - results...

(...) Thanks again, Richard & Jake. I think the results show how diverse our individual needs (wants?) are. For colors, I am surprised (and disappointed) dark red is not more prominent. For parts, I don't understand why black tiles are listed. They (...) (20 years ago, 26-May-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Gluing broken bricks

I read in a previous posting that the writer felt it was wrong to use a glue that disolves the plastic material. I believe that that is an incorrect statement. I have been using MEK based glue to attach bricks to each other for a while now. You need (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)
