| | Lots of boxed Space stuff for sale on ebay!!
|
| I know the market is quiet right now, but for those interested in some really good deals on Space stuff, now might be the time to buy. Predictably, much of my listings, which end tomorrow afternoon EST, still await bids. (URL) Surface Hopper 6844 (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

| | Re: Sets
|
| (...) Thanks, Jojo. It definitely sounds like a lame excuse, no matter which way you decipher it. What kind of cats does he have that would destroy all the books, whether with claws or bladders? Bengal tigers? Bah...I'm waiting for these sets to hit (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.theory)

| | Re: Sets
|
| (...) Alta Vista translates it as "My cats made themselves tonight over the guidances." That sounds, to me, like his cats peed on the instructions. Funny stuff. I wonder if that's the German way of saying "my dog ate my homework." Neat looking (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.theory)

| (...) I'm on the phone with an operator now (on hold). They're apparently out of backorder stock! Amazing! How many of you guys ordered 50+ of these babies, anyway? ;-) Wait...wait...no biggie after all, I was still able to order some, and they're (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| (...) Pthrrrp. What a crappy, cold reply. Makes me want to quit Lugnet, too. Beat feet, JSA, Lugnet is supposed to be a haven from bullies. --Dave (jot and jab) xxx...xxx (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

I certainly do not condone how this was done, nor do I want to encourage it, but at the moment there are lots of fibblesnork links on pages and sites across the internet (both forgotten and not) that now (...) | | Space Sets That Never Were...
|
| Hello, I've added new stuff to my Lego Space pages found here: (URL) a new area of the site dedicated to "Classic Space Sets That Never Were," featuring several of the "missing set numbers." Wanna see 893 Space Pod, made in 1978? How about 6888 (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-01, to lugnet.space)

| Well, I will only be trading with one person. I don't WANT more than 1 more 8880, and yes, I DO want to keep as many 5571s as possible ;-) I offered 2, knowing at selling prices, it would be a good deal, I just didn't figure on that many people (...) | (...) Yep... (...) Last year when I was complete, I still needed a few boxes....6806, 6807, and a few little non-US sets like 1694 and 1954. Then I sold a bunch of stuff to patch up some financial ruin, but now I'm back on track and trying to get (...) (24 years ago, 10-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| Old good, new bad. The rest is blah-blahs. I agree with all of it, of course. Aside: They'll never bring back the old expensive box styles. One reason 90-piece System sets are still ten bucks (the same price as in the 70s and 80s....Lego deserves (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)
