  Re: Female Ldraw Parts  [DAT]

As I promised in lugnet.cad, here are TWO unofficial files for Minifig Legs with a skirt shape. There are still things I have to do with them and hope to do soon--put in more lines for the corners and a couple more quads. But for now you can check (...) There are some lovely touches there. I particularly like your trees (the silver birch is inspired), the mechanism on the gatehouse and the dots around the door arch. Lots of detail and realism Thanks for sharing -- James Stacey ---...--- (...) (23 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Proposal for an AFOL Event at LEGOLAND Windsor

(...) Good for you guys :-) I suppose I'm used to the US where we're more spread out. I'm in Chicago, but on the west coast (I take at least one trip a year to hang out with AFOLs there) it is so spread out its difficult to get a large number of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Looking at his other creations, they are all based on existing sets, with minor modifications and colour changes. Not to say that they arn't good. Some of them work very well, and he has a good eye for traditional minifig scale. -- James Stacey (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Don't worry - we hold a lot of meetings for the UK crowd anyway. I for one won't be bothered if this is purely a public show. It's no big deal for a lot of us to get together anytime. (...)   All Episode II sets sighted at Big W Port Macquarie 20/4

They may be all over the place now, but it was my first sighting of any of the Ep2 sets on shelf. The boxes do indeed appear to be significantly larger than necessary, but, while I could live without the odd colours (hey, I could live without (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  cool stuff on brickshelf

(...) It's worth noting that (according to Peeron[1]) this was only used to fill horses' backs until 1994, and only became a regular architectural element with the introduction of Wild West in 1995.
