Re: [LCAD] plz help me fix 3626bps4...

As a result of off-line correspondence, I've uploaded the following: 3626bps4 - Minifig Head with SW Alien with Large Black Eyes Pattern 3626bps6 - Minifig Head with SW Grey Beard and Eyebrows Pattern This will solve the mis-match problem *and* (...)   Glad A+++!

I've found that the little round Gladware containers work best for storing almost any small piece. They can store over 50 minifig heads and they don't pop open too easily! I'll try to get some pics up sometime. Dave. (23 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Dear Lego, if you must license, how about the Dragonriders of Pern

(...) Hmm. I'm guessing that gold or bronze bricks would be more expensive than regular bricks. So I think that would make it less likely that LEGO would make them. But, they've made the technic Super Battle Droid, which has blue parts treated (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Hi all, Some while back, I remember having read on the newspaper about the LEGO concentration camp controversy, and some of the debate about it; well, today I saw a similar use of LEGO, at least in its intention.   Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

Re: New MOC - S-97 Fighter

I really like the shape of this....the elegance of the form really captures the anime feel, yet the blunt nose speaks a little to it's eastern block ancestry. I'd love to see it in a minifig scale.... Cool. Cheers, -G (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Error in my 7103 Jedi Duel

(...) Yeah, I've had a couple printing problems with Ep2 sets. In the Duel the lines are visible off on the two curve-wedges--but since I'll probably Brasso them anyhow, that's OK.   Re: Question about scale

Hey Thomas. Sorry I never got back to you in email. I personally use the word "microfig" as an umbrella term that absorbs all of the other smaller then minifig scales.   Question about scale

Hello all! I have a question on scales: what exactly does microfig scale mean? Is this just any scale smaller than minifig? I'm wondering because I'm working on a huge battleship in something that is what you call microfig... Regards Thomas (23 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Star Wars sets cost per piece analysis

Out of curiosity, I checked out how the price per piece fared over 1999-2002, since I kinda had that "gut feeling" that 1999 sets were a better value. But try as I might, nothing doing.
