the part in question is found in the Extreme Island Stunts sets. It attatches to the neck of a minifig and then has a stud attatchment. (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Whoa, nice. You are truly gifted at making small mecha. All the designs I have tried to build that hold a minifig inside have turned out larger and boxier than these. Hey Kotaro, I have been admiring these on Brickshelf for the past week. I really think these are nice. Do you really plan to mass produce this suit and build a whole army of them?
