Re: Final Update on Ken :(

Gosh, I'm very sad to hear this. I never knew Ken, but I know just by the frequency of his postings, that he was a great contributor to the Lugnet community and that he will be missed. I will be praying for you and your family in this very difficult (...) Oh yeah, good point, I forgot about summer and vacationing being a factor, but I still think that there has been a slight decrease in posting frequency due to the authentication, we'll just have to wait a while and see what happens I geuss.   Re: Next meeting, Fukaya Dates Advice NEEDED

Love the new Music capability with the new firmware!

I don't know if people have discussed this already or not, but I'm just playing around with the new firmware now and I can finally do what I have wanted to do for 3 years, and that is to make the frequency played by the RCX be a function of a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) If you're using NQC and tell the compiler you're targeting RCX 2.0 (-Trcx2 for the command line version), then PlayTone() will accept a variable frequency. Duration, however, must still be constant. Dave Baum (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics)

I haven't done a lot of testing with SendSerial(), so I can't say for certain what combinations are possible, etc. If you use SetSerialPacket(SERI...CKET_RCX), any bytes you send get built as a packet (with the 55 ff 00 header, data followed by (...) Hello Handyboarders, I hve a few questions regarding IR demodulation. Fred's book shows both the GP1US2 and the IS1U60 IR demodulators but only shows how to hook up the GP1US2. There's a load of reactions here already, so I'll keep it short. I't very hard to give an overall verdict on replacement parts. Hi $ALL! I just assembled a handyboard. The assembly documentation (hba.pdf) says, that there should be a ~40kHz square wave at pin 2 of U9 (HC04). My frequency counter shows 72 kHz...
