  RC control

I currently own a Legomindstorms that I'm incorporating with the Lego RC cars. I took the car apart and altered the control board so that it can control two motors. This would allow a radio controlled robot to have full movement through the RC and (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hello, The sequence actually starts on the G, like this: PlayTone(392, EIGHTH); PlayTone(523, EIGHTH); PlayTone(659, EIGHTH); PlayTone(784, EIGHTH * 2); PlayTone(659, EIGHTH); PlayTone(784, EIGHTH * 2); A reasonable value for EIGHTH is 16.   Re: Motor control

I like 0 to 8 better. Also is there any way to control the frequency at which the PWM works? I find that some of my motors deliver too much at step 1. How about if there was something like: motor( motornum, cycles_on, total_cyles); if you feed (...) (29 years ago, 18-Mar-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Your update frequency is a little high, I feel. Once a day or so is probably the most you should do. Also, can you please give some sense as to what to expect for shipping costs from Hungary? I have been holding off on bidding because I am unsure. (25 years ago, 3-May-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Sound patch for 0.2.3

As somebody painted out today, the frequency settings for PITCH_Gm2 through PITCH_Am3 (or 23-37) are erroneous. I copied and pasted these from Martin's "Wir sind die Roboter" demo, which seems to be in error, too. A patch to alleviate the problem is (...)   Re: repost

(...) Thanks! (...) There should be no problem running the power supply at a higher frequency, so I simply bought a 40 Watt Reverse Electricity Converter from Radio Shack. This steps up the voltage from 120 volt AC to 240 volt AC. It has worked (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.az)

  Re: E-mail authentication during posting

This is really annoying and is impacting my posting frequency. Since I use a cable modem, I'm always posting from the same IP address. Is there any way to enter an IP address as "authorized" to be myself? If that won't work, how about making it so (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

  Re: IR Tower

(...) No. The IR tower uses a totally different raw protocol and lower frequency. In fact, it's closer to a remote control than IrDA. (Speaking of which, has anyone ever interfaced an RCX with a programmable remote or a TV?) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Thanks for the info. I am here in Canada. I am somewhat ignorant of frequency limits by CRTC (Canadian equivalent of the FCC). The unit can be tuned to braodcast in short range to the lower FM frequencies near 80-90 Mhz. Tom McDonald wrote in (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)
