  Happy Holidays

Well, I've spent the last few days being wonderfully ill, so I don't remember how I got here, but we're in Florida now and I wanted to sigh on and wish everyone a happy holiday season. Kinda nice to be wearing shorts to do my last minute shopping. (...) (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Working around the 3 output limitation

(...) I know, and I'm sorry I can't seem to explain it with words. (...) Probably not the "official" term for it. It's a 1x4 plate with teeth on one side used to convert rotational motion (from a gear) to linear motion. I use it to move my shifting (...) (26 years ago, 15-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  The race is on!

Who'll be the first to get a 1999 catalogue? AND post pics to the web? I was last year :-) I phoned LEGO UK on Thursday and they took my address to send me one, but they were a bitvague about when it would be sent. Last year, the LEGO club magazine (...)   Re: 2951.dat

This is a highly unofficial part, and does only resemble the shape of the real one. I spent a day making it (my first part ever), so I figured I should post it here in case some other people had a need for it. There's lots of details missing. The (...) (26 years ago, 27-Dec-98, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Here in the US not a real laser pointer IMO. Too much potential for retinal damage. I don't think TLG could honestly post the age range otherwise. I don't own any l&s (1), but it could be one or maybe just light. (1) frankly I don't need (...) (26 years ago, 29-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Is lugnet.general general enough?

Q to Todd: Have you ever considered lugnet.off-topic.general or lugnet.off-topic.q&a to which people could post things, perhaps questions, neither fun nor debatable? An example post could be, "How do I get my newsreader to keep from sending multiple (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Help on LDraw (Re: Where can I find legOS & LDraw?)

About LDraw: Is there someone in this list that doesn't bother to post or lead me a small introduction do LDraw and their tools? I'd like to build a 3D model of my bot and render it in 3D. (...) keeps things simple with form in mind, and I like it. I had color before, and my best friend is sold out on color sorting, but it doesn't work for me.
