| | Re: Lego made a Caboose!
|
| (...) 3225 Cargo train is a good value. I have 3, I think, and plan to get several more. The per piece price on bogies, motor, red windows, low slopes, etc, is quite attractive. And I think it's a cute set in its own right, see my review. However (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) You'd rather they juniorized it with a set bag with picture per set??? Bendyarm did an inventory... let me root and get back to you, after I check with him to see if he's OK with sharing it. (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

| | Dilemma: How best to honor Gary Louie
|
| I've a bit of a quandary that I could use some advice on. Mike Collins had a deal going with Gary and several others for Octan Twin Tank Transports ((URL) sent out and received payment for all the rest, but not from Gary. Mike decided he'd made (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

| Thanks all for your thoughts. I got some good offline suggestions as well, and what I'm seeing form as a consensus is to auction off whatever stuff ends up being donated (there's no need to actually send it to me, the donators can just send to the (...) |
| I was at Mall of America last night and I had a hat made at a place that does custom embroidery on baseball caps. It's bright red. Pretty close to TLG Logo red, actually. On the front it says "I read RTL" in big letters, and on the back (in an arch (...) (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

| One quick point, the hat I did is text only. I have permission for text only, and have no intent of a logoed version until and unless the trademark holder (that's Todd and Suz) grants it. I don't anticipate that in time for the opening. (26 years ago, 26-Feb-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

| In a typical US network move, because they have no imagination, it's been repackaged with a US host, Drew Carey. Not the first show, not the last.
