  Re: sea monkeys teaser

(...) Someone forgot to cross post this to .space... :-) Too excited, I guess. (and a big thanks to Peter Guenther for taking this pic and the ones that are coming soon) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

I *think* that's Iain's way of saying "the different path requirement is not really a good idea" but I'm not sure. :-) I'm still wondering about the joint question... didn't most of the bots at BF have rigid guidewheels that would be (...)   Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) Would this mean then that robots would need to be able to lift guidewheels to clear branching points? That's how I read what you say about "grid", that there are tee/Y/cross pipe parts and not just bends. (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Hey, Vineet... There's this thing, it's really wild... it's called the internet. Have you heard of it? You should check it out! And, get this... rtlToronto has a website, believe it or not, on this internet thing. Isn't that exciting? I think (...) (21 years ago, 25-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

If so, you have far better eyes than me, all those horses kinda blur together and I doze off trying to count them. (...) That last pic (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) A bit of trickery there... :-) The cab is 6 wide at the top (the hinged part) but the stationary part is only 5 wide, using tiles to handle the mismatch. The stationary part sits on a 6 wide plate base which is offset 1/2 stud from the frame, (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)

Rather LESS! :-) The combine body, when loaded on the drop center flat has to fit through the same tunnel on my layout that my previous MTW-1004 Transformer on Drop Center model has to fit through. (...) The whole Bob and Doug Mackenzie thing... I was in the UP going to "da Tech" when it first came out, and a lot of the Yoopers didn't *at all* get why it was funny. They (dey) all dressed and talked like that (dat) already. Really! (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
