Re: Weapons in models (was Re: Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks

(...) It's not *my* reasoning. It's my speculation about *their* reasoning. If you want to infer what I think, think about "slices pretty close"... and what I meant by that.:-) (...) I could (facetiously) argue the point, in that since they mass (...) (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

So far the only uses for this helmet (in either size) I've been able to come up with that aren't directly related to Darth, or some closely related thing like SpaceBalls, aren't really suitable for a family forum, or (...)   Re: Weekly Update of New AuctionBrick Items

(...) You know, I get tired of hearing how we live in a capitalistic world. We don't. Not hardly. (if you disagree, take it to off-topic.debate). But even so, this particular seller isn't (apparently) demonstrating much capitalism. LEGO placed a (...) (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

(...) Yellow truck is coming back??? That's rocking! It's a cute little set. Not sure I'd vote it a huge must have back classic, but it's good news nonetheless. Thanks for sharing! (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Weapons in models (was Re: Lego seems to be copying Mega Blocks

(...) True. See also the Patriot Jet, circa 1996: (URL) a modern "fighter jet". It just doesn't have any weapons. Does the 4403 model have visible weapons? if not, it doesn't undercut the argument (although it slices pretty close if you ask me) that (...) (...) I agree... Here's a snap of a small container ship. Note that it's only 5 containers long and about 6 or so wide (URL) think it's an NL ship, actually. So there are small ones out there, as well as the monsters (URL) some are presumably (...) (20 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.boats)
