  Re: Canadian prices

(...) Hey Pete! Quite an old topic, and yes, seems to be quite unfair, considering that we have to add our HST on the order. I solved this by ordering in the US and picking up my orders down there when I go through. I have them shipped in Maine, (...) (13 years ago, 18-Apr-11, to lugnet.general)

I know you are all curious to know who won, so allow me to (re) announce. 1. For the Autonomous Tug-of-War game, we had a total of one entry.   Brickfete 2011 a huge success!! (at least from the feedback I got from everyone)

Brickfete was fantastic! I'm still pumped and haven't come down from that high! The 4 days flew by waaay too quickly! So here's some things-- First, pics-- (URL) didn't take as many pictures as I wanted, but lack of time and energy. The good bit is (...)   Re: Bad Policy #2 (Why all the secrecy, LEGO Direct?)

(...) I largely agree with you and Suz about the intent of the summit. But I don't have a problem with LEGO manufacturing interest in their product. I see advertising (including posts on LUGNET, leaks, summits, etc.) as a very good thing. It gives (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Bad Policy #1 (What's the deal, LEGO Direct?)

The recent offering of old service packs on shop.lego.com has got me upset over what I see as a bad policy of LEGO's: no shipping outside shop-at-home territories. There are people over here in the US begging to buy these old and rare service packs, (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
