| | Brickfête - robot games - who won
|
| I know you are all curious to know who won, so allow me to (re) announce. 1. For the Autonomous Tug-of-War game, we had a total of one entry. That robot was declared the winner (by Default) Seeing as one of the rules was that the event organizers (...) (13 years ago, 2-Aug-11, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I see advertising (including posts on LUGNET, leaks, summits, etc.) as a very good thing. It gives (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Bad Policy #1 (What's the deal, LEGO Direct?)
|
| The recent offering of old service packs on shop.lego.com has got me upset over what I see as a bad policy of LEGO's: no shipping outside shop-at-home territories. There are people over here in the US begging to buy these old and rare service packs, (...) (24 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

I asked what that reason was (for not shipping outside territories) and got the answer at the top from Tomas Clark, basically, "that's not the way we do things", which is no answer at all as far as I'm concerned.
