Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) True, but many a-10 are gray. Example: (URL) facts there also. I like the rotating 2x2 pieces with 1x1 cylinders for the gatlin gun. 4 technic axels with small cap pieces might look good too. Shaun, I've seen your work on brickshelf before and I am just floored by the detail. You are, by far, one of the best lego modelers out there. 8 Your attention to detail is clearly seen in the beautiful re-creations of WWII and Star Wars machines. I (...)   Re: Idea for a new feature to help rotation of parts in Ldraw Cad software

(...) The rotation axis defines a rotation center and limits the rotation to one degree of freedom. It should be used in primitives that basically only have only one degree of freedom in rotation like pegholes and axleholes. This feature will avoid (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

As a designer on the "Alpha Team" project, I'm responsible for the "walking TV" set -- the basic idea is that it's supposed to be the way you ask for help (as opposed to a "help button").   recommendation for stl2dat (was Re: Are anybody working on the Star Wars Battle Droid arms?)

A few recommendation when using CAD -> convert program(ex:stl2dat) to modelise parts: - The tesselation paramater should be set so that a regular cylinder is output with 16 facets. In Solidworks, this is done by setting the minimum angle to 22.5 deg (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: NEW MOC: Navy Destroyer Prototype

I appreciate the feedback. You're are right -- it's definetly not "naval spec" accurate. This is in part due to the fact I was never in the navy and secondly because I failed to perform a lot of research prior to building, except look at few photo's (...)
