Converting .TRI files procuded by AC3D

I saw some dat produced with a AC3D converter, but they only containded triangles.
My program stl2dat converts triangle to dat files with triangles, quadrangles, edges and primitives.
My question is: are persons interested if my converter STL2DAT also reads AC3D files. I think the best one is .TRI file,
but the unregisterd version of AC3D I have cannot save this format.
If the answer is yes, I would need either a description of the .TRI files format, or a couple of sample of .TRI files,
or even better the source code to rea this format.
