  Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) Yes. Currently, that is the bulk of my purchases. Duplo is where my money is spent right now. I find that anything purchased for me is usually bought via eBay or AuctionBrick. (...)   Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) Yes, I would. Actually, I am buying lots of Lego for my own child (which will be born around july 1st) and for several other children. (...) Because I believe that apart from the play value of Lego, the building system helps children to (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

This MOC contest are held by clickbrick(famous LEGO shop) in Tokyo. Contest rules are following. - Area, smaller than 16x16 stud.   Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

Interesting. I also took it on Firefox/XP, yet I didn't get anything like Q23/24, about decreased spending. It's too bad, too, as my 2004 spending was less than 1/4 of 2003, and 2005 has been nil except for pre-2004 sets and Duplo that doesn't have (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

A few comments on the survey: A couple of questions seemed like trick ones to see if you are really an AFOL - like which themes are part of TLC, and which ranges would you recommend to an 8-year old boy's parents. I hope no-one recommended Clickits (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: What's up with the Wal*mart Lego selection?

(...) I find the same thing here in Vermont. It's getting to the point where it's almost impossible to buy Lego retail. WalMart had a few Duplo tubs and Bionicle, and then the rest of the "Lego" aisle was full of MegaBloks. Same story at K-Mart. At (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

What's up with the Wal*mart Lego selection?

I live in a small town in western North Carolina and I often travel to nearby towns and cities to look for deals on Lego in places like Wal*mart. Lately, I've noticed a disturbing trend. The stores in the following cities have *very little* Lego on (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Downtown Disney Lego Store to reopen Sat March 12

I dropped by DD to look at the store today. The privacy wall is still up around the whole thing, but there's a lot of work going on; through the gaps in the wall I could see lots of painters painting.
